PFAS in Biosolids: Emerging Technologies and Sludge Handling Trends, Observed Cost Impacts, and Ongoing Study
This presentation will discuss the impacts PFAS has had on sludge management programs across the US from a cost and non-cost perspective. It will also discuss emerging technologies and end-use management trends intended to mitigate PFAS found in sludge and provide long term sludge management solutions.
Presenter Eric Spargimino is a Principal and project manager with CDM Smith. Over the past 15 years he’s specialized in wastewater treatment planning and design, with a focus on biosolids. He has is BS and ME from Manhattan College in NYC.
