Objective: Participants will learn of the results of the MAP Survey 2021
We invite you to complete the 8th annual Management of Accounting Practice (MAP) Survey, which focuses exclusively on the CPA firms operating in our geographic area – Northern Virginia, DC & Maryland. The survey is designed to provide intelligence specific to our market that will help your firm identify key performance indicators and best practices across a myriad of functional areas – employee benefits, facilities, finance, human resources, marketing, operations, technology, outsourcing and teleworking. There is no cost to participate in the survey and everyone who completes the survey will be sent the final survey report around December 17, 2021. The survey results are an excellent tool to help your firm with 2022 planning and budgeting. The Northern Chapter Virginia Society of CPAs (NCVSCPA) was inspired to create this survey program 8 years ago to meet the growing needs of mid-sized CPA firms in our geographical area for data on their peer group. This is our 8th year distributing the survey, and each year the number of respondents continues to grow. Last year around 60 CPA firms completed the survey. Survey data collected confidential. The survey will take about 30 minutes to complete. The survey requests the name of the firm and person who is completing it for the purposes of ensuring we only include 1 survey per firm, and for the MAP Special Interest Group (SIG) to ask questions to the contact person if needed. The names of firms will not be distributed in the final survey results – this information will remain confidential. The survey also requests the firm's annual gross revenue/billing range in Question 2, exclusively for the purpose of being able to present survey findings by size of firm, which ultimately will be more useful information for benchmarking purposes. Who is being sent this email/survey request? This email is being sent to the Managing Partner, Firm Administrator and select partners at CPA firms in the Northern VA, Maryland and DC-metro area. Survey results. Survey results will be emailed to all firms who participate in the survey by December 17, 202.
