Event Description

This training program is for qualified individuals interested in teaching the NCCER curricula and offering the accompanying credentials. Who should take this course? NCCER craft instructor, NCCER curriculum proctors, and NCCER site representatives.

Location: virtual course with 100% participation

Technology: You must have access to a computer with wifi, video, and audio capabilities.  

Cost: $475 (plus shipping is applicable)

CRAFT INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION

A Craft Instructor is an individual who has successfully completed the Instructor Certification Training Program (ICTP) conducted by an NCCER Master Trainer with current credentials and is authorized to teach the NCCER curriculum.

Craft Instructors must meet the following qualifications:

·        Experience at a minimum journey or technician level in their area of expertise OR

·        A minimum of three years experience as a certified teacher in a vocational/technical construction or maintenance-related training program

·        A Master Trainer may also serve as an instructor if they meet the above criteria and submit Form 101 and the ICTP information sheet

·        Must provide supporting documentation such as resume, certificates, and/or licenses
