Event Description


Welcome to CMI’s Youth Registration for the 2022 Fall Season!

This Fall season runs from Wednesday, September 7th through Friday, October 21st.  Experienced rowers will train for and potentially race in at least two races, including the fall classic Head of the Weir (Oct 8), and races tentatively planned for Sept 24 and Oct 22.  Program limited to 20 rowers.
  • On the water rowing practice:  Monday, Wednesday, Friday 3:45-5:30pm
  • Land-based Training: Tuesday, Thursday 3:45-4:45pm
  • Cost: $400
  • Rowers  should plan to commit to attending four sessions per week, preferably three on the water and one land-based. They are welcome to attend all five.
  • No practice on Monday, October 10
This season is for experienced rowers only.  The conditions of fall require experienced youth rowers who have demonstrated commitment, endurance, and listening skills, as well as an interest in building strength and fitness. Email Frank Townsend, Program Director, at programdirector@rowcmi.org if you have any concerns about your rowers age or experience, or if they are unable to make the four day per week commitment. 

Inexperienced or first-time rowers are welcome to join our winter training session, which is open to all level of rowers. These will be workouts using erg (indoor rowing machines).  Registration for this will come out later in September.
