Event Description
This comprehensive program covers all 8 hours of training required by California Rules of Court, Rule 5.24 for Minor's Counsel to renew your status on the Minor's Counsel panel. This year’s seminar we focus on domestic violence in MC cases, cultural bias issues, working with the attorneys of your client's parents, the complaint process & much more. This year, the training begins with an IN PERSON program with many of the Judges who assign Minor's Counsel. Discussion will cover process issues, how parties can improve the role of Minor's Counsel and communicating with the Court.
