Event Description
TRAINING OBJECTIVES
The training will examine childhood burns (both accidental and inflicted), the medical evaluation of burns, the role of Child Protective Services and Law Enforcement in the investigation of burns, as well as criminal charges and prosecution of such injuries.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
All APSAC members and non-members from any profession working with abused and neglected children including medical providers, social workers, law enforcement, prosecutors, forensic professionals, school personnel, and child advocates.
