Event Description
The Young American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (YAPSAC) is the division of APSAC (American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children) designed to serve students and young professionals. The goal of YAPSAC is to ensure that the next generation of leaders in the field of child maltreatment have access to the multi-disciplinary information, resources, and network that APSAC offers.
On Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 12:00pm EST, YAPSAC will be hosting an Info Session through Zoom for individuals interested in learning more about the organization and potentially becoming a member. The Info Session will also describe events and activities that are free for all, regardless of YAPSAC membership. Current YAPSAC members will outline the mission of the APSAC organization, the conception of its “students and young professionals” division, and further highlight the many opportunities available for participants interested in joining YAPSAC and/or participating in YAPSAC-sponsored events. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of current active YAPSAC members and make suggestions for future YAPSAC events.
