Our theme this year is “Learning with a Purpose.” We will have a wonderful plenary speaker, Asst. Professor Merari Weber from Santa Ana College. She will be presenting and doing activities on Project-Based Learning (PBL), which is a great way to bring a strong sense of purpose to language acquisition instruction. We will also have several concurrent sessions, food and refreshments, and publishers ready to help you with your textbook and professional development needs. There will also be an opportunity drawing at the end of the event and plenty of ESL teacher camaraderie.
