Description:

In this class you will create a luminaria which has been inspired by the Hopi kachina.  You will make a slab-built tubular form, a pinch pot for the head and texture the surface to create the illusion of a costume.  The form will be incised once the tubular form used as a mold is removed.  In this one-session class you will create the entire form. Bisque firing and glazing are on your own.
