Description:

This class will provide hands on instruction for students who wish to learn how to create pottery using the wheel. Each student will learn the fundamentals of throwing, which includes centering, opening, and pulling clay with the object of creating a pottery form. At the completion of this class students should be able to make simple forms like bowls and be ready to move on to the second class, the Wheel Continuum, which will offer continued instruction and develop further skill in throwing.
