CMCA Summit Activity Registration

CMCA has organized a few fun and informative events that you can take advantage of while you are in the Wheaton area.

This registration form allows individuals to register for any of the following activities:

Billy Graham Walking Tour:  1 1/2 hour walking tour of Billy Graham's life here in Wheaton.  The tour will run from 1:30-3:30.  Tour limited to 25 (no fee but registration required).

Gino's East Pizzeria dinner (5:15pm limit 60)  We have reserved Gino's East for dinner on May 16th.  Gino's is undergoing a menu/pricing change and we plan to open registration for this event in January 2019, after we determine the cost.

Scripture Engagement class:  This class meets on Friday, May 17th from 9am to noon, led by Phil Collins director of Taylor University Scripture Engagement Center.  There is a $5 material (book) fee and limited seating, so registration is required.  On Friday morning, Summit attendees may choose to attend either the Scripture Engagement class or the Bail Reform Policy Panel (10 to noon, no fee or registration required).


The following museums/exhibits are self-guided and you may tour them any time the buildings are open.

The Billy Graham Center Museum will be open from 10am to 5pm on Tuesday May 14th through Saturday May 18th The museum is free, with suggested donation.  You do not need an advance reservation as the tour is self-guided and you may enter the museum at any time the museum is open.

Underground Railroad site and Wrestle on Jacob art exhibit. 
Blanchard Hall was the site of a stop on the Underground Railroad.  Visit the building and view the art exhibit on the 1st floor of Blanchard Hall, under the tower.  Blanchard Hall will be open from 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday.

The Marion E. Wade Center will be open from 9am to 4pm Monday through Friday.  The Wade Center holds manuscripts from 7 Christian British authors including C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien.  A visit to the Wade Center Museum shows the CS Lewis Wardrobe, original map of Narnia and a display commemorating the 75th anniversary of The Hobbit.
