Online Webinar - Managing Conflict Successfully: Changing Avoidance to Collaboration 2021
1/1/2021 - 12/31/2021

Event Description
Course Description:
New certification standards stress interprofessional training for speech-language pathology/audiology students (CFCC,2018). Effective communication skills are a key component to any successful collaboration. Misunderstandings, disagreements, and other communication challenges are inevitable no matter what the work setting or clinical population,
but how these challenges are managed can make a difference in professional success or failure (Wright, Banas, Bessarabova, & Bernard, 2010). This session will provide an overview of three common levels of conflict, help participants understand the source of the conflict, as well as provide effective management strategies for each level.
