To successfully complete the 2 day Level Archery Instructor Certification Course, each student must be age 18 years or older and meet the following course requirements. Students younger than 18 may complete the Level 1 course only. Use the link below for additional details and requirements.  

• Attend the 16 hour certification course
• Demonstrate practical application of teaching the USA Archery Level 1 Instructor Certification Course.
• Demonstrate ability to outfit an archer with equipment and accessories.
• Demonstrate and explain in detail the National Training System Steps of Shooting for Recurve and Compound.
• Demonstrate knowledge of equipment set-up and accessories
• Pass the written exam with a score of 75% or higher
• Complete and submit the Applicant Data Form to the course instructor for submission to USA Archery

In addition, the following requirements apply and may be completed prior to taking the course. Prior to being awarded your instructor certification these additional requirements must be met.

• Complete the USA Archery Background screen.
• Obtain a USA Archery membership
• Complete the SafeSport course
