2 CE Credits: $15 [from our co-sponsor, the Society for Personality Assessment]

What is the Zone of Proximal Development and what does it have to do with Therapeutic Assessment (TA)? Why is scaffolding important in Extended Inquiries, and how can clinicians get better at taking half-steps? How did Luria and Vygotsky influence Therapeutic Assessment, and is there any relationship between their work and that of Constance Fischer? In this 120-minute webinar, Stephen Finn will answer all these questions and lay out a rationale for dynamic assessment methods that are rigorous, yet tailored to individual clients. Two videos will demonstrate Finn’s scaffolding and collaboration with two TA clients during cognitive and personality testing.
This webinar is based on Finn’s closing lecture at the 2nd International Collaborative/Therapeutic Assessment Conference (September 2017, Austin, TX). Attendees will be able to watch the 70-minute lecture/video presentation in the 2 weeks prior to the live Q+A session. The 50-minute live session will take place on April 17th at 10 AM USA CST.  Attendees are invited to submit their questions in writing before the live session. More information will be sent upon registration.
