Town hall open Q&A format and reception with President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Dr. Raphael W. Bostic.
Your Northern Chapter of the VSCPA invites its members to mark July 13 on their calendar for a special networking event featuring Dr. Raphael Bostic, who is one of the few presidential appointees selected by both Republican and Democratic presidents. Dr. Bostic was appointed by President Trump and currently serves as President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, having previously served under President Obama as the assistant secretary for policy development at the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Prior to that appointment, he was an economist for the Federal Reserve Board of Governors for five years, before chairing the University of Southern California’s Department on Governance, Management and Policy also for five years. He earned his Doctorate (economics) at Stanford University after a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard, with a double major in economics and psychology.
Mr. Bostic is making a special and unscripted appearance during which he will be answering our questions about the economy, real estate, public policy, interest rates, GDP, GNP, and anything else in his areas of expertise of which there are many.
