Topic : Estate Planning


This session will provide an overview of estate planning structure for your clients that best suits their needs. Yahne Miorini, founder and principal of Miorini Law, PLLC, will walk through various scenarios and best practices for those scenarios. There is so much diversity among our client's financial situations that there is no one size fits all. 

Objectives:
During this discussion, participants will:
  • identify best estate planning structure for clients
  • review several estate planning scenarios from CPA's perspective
  • identify best practices

Yahie Miorini is past President of VAELA, the Virginia Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). Ms. Miorini has served as the chair of the Elder Law Estate Section of the Fairfax Bar Association, past co-chair of the Wills, Trusts, and Estates Section of the Fairfax Bar Association and was named Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year in 2006 by the Fairfax Bar Association. She was the past treasurer of the McLean Estate Planning Council. Additionally, she is the President of the Comité Tricolor (non-profit organization dedicated to helping French Citizens in the Washington, DC metropolitan area). Ms. Miorini received an award from the French Government for her public services (Chevalier de l'Ordre national du mérite)
