Join the Northern Chapter VSCPA for an evening discussing the following topics: 

The 411 on Qualified Small Business Stock and The Impact of 2018 Tax Reform on Individual Income Tax Returns

Participants will learn the following (after both sessions)

  • A high level overview of the most predominant changes that effected individual income tax returns
  • The impact of the Section 199a deduction
  • The impact of the various changes in itemized deductions
  • Common issues and problems that were confronted during 2018
  • Future planning considerations for individual income taxpayers moving forward
  • How to plan for potential future changes in the tax code moving forward
Speakers: Timothy Wallace and Doug Boyce, Senior Managers, Andersen Tax

    Tim Wallace
works in Andersen Tax’s Private Client Services practice, where he works closely with affluent families and their related businesses, trusts, private foundations and other entities. Tim brings close to ten years of experience to Andersen Tax, providing income, estate and gift tax planning and compliance for individuals and multigenerational family groups. Tim is active in the Washington, D.C. professional community, including being involved in a D.C. Professionals Study Group with five other professional service firms in the banking, legal, insurance and wealth management industries.

    Doug Boyce, works in Andersen Tax’s Private Client Services practice, where he specializes in tax compliance and consulting for high net worth individuals, closely held businesses, tax-exempt organizations, and multi-generational family groups. His past work history includes extensive experience in the design and implementation of internal accounting and office systems, implementation and compliance of employee benefit programs, trust, estate and gift tax planning and compliance, and general business consulting. Prior to joining Andersen Tax, Doug worked at Ginsberg Boyd CPAs, a tax and business consulting practice in Washington, D.C. founded and operated by now Andersen Tax Managing Directors, Dalbert Ginsberg and Scott Boyd. Doug is involved in a number of charitable and volunteer organizations in and around the Washington, D.C. Metro area.​
