Nomination for 2026 KSHA Awards
Award Descriptions

Honors of the Association: The highest honor awarded to an audiologist or speech-language pathologist who has contributed significantly to KSHA and demonstrated outstanding leadership in the profession while providing an example of professional excellence. Recipients provide distinguished contributions and service to the field and the Association. Contributions can be related to teaching and/or research and/or service to the profession and active involvement in KSHA.

Speech-Language Pathologist of the Year: An individual who has demonstrated exceptional clinical work and contributions in the area of speech-language pathology.

Audiologist of the Year: An individual who has demonstrated exceptional clinical work and contributions in the area of audiology.


Bill Brady Advocacy Award: a member or group of members who have made impactful contributions to the fields of Speech-Language Pathology and/or Audiology through advocacy efforts within their workplace, community, or at the local, state or federal level.

Special Service Awards: Presented to those individuals who have made a specific contribution to the Association or the profession.
