Association for Women in Psychology

AWP's 2021 conference theme is “Doing Anti-Racism Work and Addressing Intergenerational Trauma.” Invited speakers will inspire members to think deeply and critically about racial and social justice, as well as systems that impede social progress and cause harm to marginalized communities.

Our mission statement describes our investment in the integration of personal, professional, and political power in the service of social justice. AWP has worked for years to challenge unexamined privilege and dominant discourses that marginalize and oppress individuals and groups within psychology and the wider society and yet much work remains. As always, we welcome all proposals related to feminist psychology. In keeping with our mission, this conference will focus on what we believe to be the most relevant theme of our time - Doing Anti-Racism Work and Addressing Intergenerational Trauma.

WARNING: Read the directions below carefully. On the left, if you started your proposal when you were logged in, then choose log in and log in and continue. BUT if you want to skip logging in, the box to the right does NOT want your password. It wants your passCODE which you were sent in a confirmation email. After you put in your email and a passCODE you should be able to continue submitting. Note also that if you skip a required field the system will give you an “error” message but you can use the back button to correct this and fill in the field you skipped. This doesn’t always work very well so try to fill everything in when you are on the page.
