PENNSYLVANIA CHILD CARE ASSOCIATION

Thank you for your interest in submitting a proposal for the Pennsylvania Early Childhood Education Summit, taking place October 16 - 18, 2023.

Since 2008, the Pennsylvania Early Childhood Summit has brought together over 1,000 early childhood professionals, parents, and community members from across Pennsylvania to this annual three-day event.

Much of the success and continued interest in the Summit is directly attributable to the educators who step up to present in our break-out sessions. It’s only through your dedication and willingness to share your knowledge that we are able to provide the variety and quality of sessions for which the Summit has come to be known.

Conference Dates and Location
The Early Childhood Education Summit will be held October 16 - 18, 2023; we will once again be using the Zoom conference platform.  The conference website is https://earlychildhoodsummit.org

Workshop Proposals
  • Workshops are 90 minutes in length. You may submit multiple proposals, clearly labeled "Part 1 of 2," "Part 2 of 2," etc. in the description if your topic requires additional time.
  • The email address you use in proposal submissions must be valid through the end of the conference in October. This is how we communicate with our presenters. If an email address is not valid, potential presenters will not receive communications or notifications regarding the status of their proposals!
  • Please add info@earlychildhoodsummit.org to your address book to ensure that messages are not diverted to spam.
  • Deadline for submissions:  Monday, April 24, 2023. The online platform closes at 11:59 PM Eastern Daylight Time
  • Considerations for selection:
    • Session contributes to the depth and breadth of sessions being offered;
    • Relevant learning objectives;
    • Connection to the 2023 Summit theme "From Surviving to Thriving: Tools to Support Early Learning"
    • Best practices for adult learning;
    • Clarity, completeness, and accuracy of proposal. Please review carefully for spelling, grammar, and punctuation before submitting.
We know the ECE field is dealing with some unique challenges right now - in keeping with our theme of "From Surviving to Thriving: Tools to Support Early Learning," we are especially interested in presentations that provide solutions you have tried or encountered!
