University Aviation Association

The UAA Annual Collegiate Aviation Conference, now in its 72nd year, offers the ideal opportunity to gain exposure to innovative, groundbreaking programs, partnerships, and to share best practices with leading educators and industry representatives. UAA invites proposals representing all segments of the industry: air traffic control, flight, FTDs, maintenance, management, operations, UAS. The allotted time for most sessions is 30 minutes. All session proposals considered by the program committee must come to the committee fully formed via the online submission form with title, description (abstract), and names and contact information of individuals who have agreed to speak if the session is accepted. Industry partners often have information and expertise to share. Proposals from individuals representing industry will be reviewed carefully to ensure that there is no intent to present a commercial message. The committee is not able to match up all speakers and proposals to a session and submission does not guarantee acceptance.

Four submission categories are available, in addition to a category for students to display research posters.
  • Best Practices Sessions
  • Education Sessions
  • Professional Development Workshops
  • Research Roundtable
  • Student Research Poster Competition
