Friday, October 21, 2022 - "Mandated Hours" - Dr. Scott Munsterman, 12:00-6:00
(6 Hour Mandated program)

This dynamic and highly interactive educational experience is designed to provide the practicing chiropractic physician with mandatory hours directed by the state’s Board of Examiners. Understanding the Legislative Process and Scope of Practice (i.e., how legislative process works, do's and don'ts, etc.), Bringing Social Media Compliance in your practice (i.e., do's and don'ts, assessing compliance, etc.), Using Technology in Healthcare (i.e., Telehealth, EHR, Online Presence, etc.), Responsibilities within a Professional Standard of Care (i.e., evaluation process, diagnosis, treatment, documentation, etc.), and Patient Safety (i.e., preventing clinical errors, professional boundaries, etc.) will be the focus of discussion.

Dr. Munsterman is an acknowledged expert on the transforming model of health care delivery and compliance with a commitment to the promotion and advancement of the chiropractic profession. Dr. Munsterman is founder and CEO of Best Practices Academy, a clinical improvement organization providing focused leadership to bring practices into compliance with regulatory standard, equip them to improve clinical outcomes, and integrate into the transformed care delivery system. Dr Munsterman believes chiropractic has a significant role to serve but challenges to face to achieve the chiropractic profession's rightful role in care delivery.

2nd Hour: LS Conditions: Herniated Disc.  Diagnosis and treatment
3rd Hour: LS Conditions: SI Syndrome.  Diagnosis and treatment
4th Hour: LS Conditions: Facet Syndrome. Diagnosis and treatment
5th Hour: LS Conditions: Stenosis. Diagnosis and treatment
6th Hour: C/T Conditions: Herniated Disc. Diagnosis and treatment
7th Hour: C/T Conditions: TOS. Diagnosis and treatment
8th Hour: C/T Conditions: Upper Crossed Syndrome.  Diagnosis and treatment
9th Hour: UE Conditions: Shoulder Impingement.  Diagnosis and treatment
10th Hour: UE Conditions: Elbow Tendinopathy
11th Hour: LE Conditions: Patella Tendinopathy/Tracking Disorders, Internal Derangement
12th Hour: LE Conditions: Achilles, Inversion Sprain, Plantar Fasciiosis

Dr. Doerr is a Chiropractor from Cliffside Park, NJ.  He graduated from Rutgers University with a BS in Biology, and is a graduate from New York Chiropractic College.  He is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and has lectured nationally and internationally on topics of Sports Medicine, Rehab, Taping and soft tissue procedures. 
 
He is the developer of Functional Taping for MSK Injuries (FTMI), the developer of Functional Soft Tissue (FST), the co-developer of FAKTR, a former instructor for SpiderTech taping, HawkGrips, Graston Technique and the Council on Chiropractic and Extremity Procedures.  He has done lectures at the Plymouth Hospital in MA, Women’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, Mt. Sinai hospital in NY, US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Penn State University, University of Colorado and internationally in India at RECOUP Hospital, Colombia at the Central American Sports Medicine Congress, Feevale University in Brazil, Mexico, Salford University in England and at AECC in England.  In total, Dr. Doerr has lectured on 6 continents and 38 of the US states over the last 23 years on topics of sports medicine, soft tissue, taping and rehabilitation.
 
Dr. Doerr has worked with sports teams at all levels with high points including the University of Colorado, Penn State, the Washington Redskins, AVP Pro Volleyball Tour, The Gold Cup International Soccer, US Track and Field Championships, US Master’s Indoor Trach and Field Championships, and the Central American Games.
