Event Description
The Fox Metro Water Reclamation District Workshop and Tour will take place on June 25, 2025, at the Fox Metro WRD facility. Presentations will highlight the plant’s operation and recent upgrades, including bar screen improvement project featuring multirake and perforated plate screens, renewable natural gas project’s past, present, and future, and disinfection enhancements such as a peracetic acid trial and uv planning, with additional wastewater related topics and speakers to be announced soon.
This event is eligible for CEUs toward IEPA wastewater license requirements. A guided facility tour will follow the presentations, with the opportunity to see the presentation topics onsite.
