PFAS – Review of Current Regulations, Challenges and Removal

Thursday, February 23, 2023

Luncheon description:
PFAS is an ever-evolving discussion within the water industry including developing regulations, identifying contributing sources, and determining which treatment technologies will provide utilities with the best outcome. Please join us as we listen to Kate Garufi review the latest in Federal and Colorado regulations, OneWater impacts, and Mark Beebe to discuss a few site cases where we’ve implemented pilot studies and treatment technologies for water utilities. Mark and Kate will explore the challenges that utilities face, discuss options for waste stream disposal, discuss advancements in PFAS removal and provide information where sites have implemented these technologies. The presentation will be sure to educate and bring awareness to the challenges that are present with PFAS removal and introduce attendees to advanced destruction technologies that are showing promise.
