Description: 
This 3-part training series will explore the historical context of disability within society, highlighting the role that ableism plays in shaping clinical practice and supervisory roles. Attendees will reflectively examine internalized messages and potential implicit biases formed around people with disabilities. They will be given tools to create safe spaces and moderate uncomfortable conversations about labels that are needed. Lastly, attendees will leave feeling empowered to advocate for themselves and others.
