Event Description
Abstract Faces Wallhanging
Date and Times: January 8 and 15, 2026 - 3:00 - 6:00 PM
Number of Sessions: Two - 3 Hour Sessions
Course Fee: $40
Description:
Participants create a wall hanging of connected, abstract faces. The faces are constructed from a slab and features are created either by adding textures , elements of clay or subtracting clay from the slab. You can't do it wrong. You make the faces however you want-- just have FUN.
Materials:
Templates for the initial shape, rings to hang it when it's completed and use of texturing tools will be provided. Molds from the club can be used if the participant wants to bend the shape of the face.
Participants provide:
- Clay, either Bmix or Speckled Buff
- Underglazes, 5 colors is optimal
- Brushes for painting
- Clay tools
