Number of Sessions: Four three-hour sessions
Course Fee: $80.00
Dates and Time: February 24, 26 and Mar 3 and 5, 2026. 6:00 - 9:00 PM
Description:
Students will review hand building knowledge, determine item to be constructed, and spend time constructing with instructor oversight. Piece will be enhanced using carving techniques to create a three dimensional look to the final product. Glazing approaches will be discussed for each individuals piece. Both horizontal and vertical shapes will be explored. The end product will be a unique piece embellished with carving.
Participants will learn:
- how to use carving tools
- techniques for highlighting pattern with color
- explore various techniques for creating shapes
