Event Description
Dear Retiree,
One of the benefits we offer to our retirees is CCW insurance. We are offering an open enrollment for 2026. This is nationwide coverage should you ever have to use your weapon for defense. The pricing guide and application, the coverage handbook, and a flyer explaining the program can be found by clicking the links.
You must register online, complete an application (new applicants only), and we must receive payment by April 1, 2026.
Here is the process:
1) You must have been a sworn law enforcement officer who meets the guidelines for retirement.
2) You must qualify annually under the retired law enforcement officer guidelines.
3) You must register for the event through our system at the link below. This will allow us to track renewals in the future.
4) In addition to registering, you must complete a PLEA form to be signed and returned to us (new applicants only). Here are your options:
a) You may scan and email the form to us at contact@missouritrooper.com
b) You may send the form by U.S. Mail
c) Or, you may take a photo of the signed form and email it to us at contact@missouritrooper.com
5) You must make payment. Here are your options: a) You may pay by credit card as you register in our system.
b) Or, you may send a check payable to MOSTA, 1729 E. Elm Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101
5) We must receive your completed form and payment by April 1, 2026. We will combine all information and forward everything to PLEA.
6) Coverage begins on January 1, 2026 and ends December 31, 2026, so you are paying for the full year (no partial payments).
If you currently have coverage you only need to select your 2026 coverage and make a payment. You do not have to send in another signed application.
