This is a hands-on workshop that walks educators through five progressively advanced ways to integrate AI into their work. It starts with "parent prompts" using Claude Projects, ChatGPT Projects/GPTs, or Gemini Gems to give AI persistent context about your teaching role and materials, eliminating repetitive re-explaining. From there, it moves into agentic AI workflows (like having Claude or Manus generate a Google Form for student feedback), using AI to write HTML for a polished Canvas LMS home page, building a research-to-presentation pipeline with NotebookLM feeding into an LLM for lesson planning, and finally "Kahoot-ifying" the classroom by generating quiz questions in NotebookLM and importing them via Kahoot's PDF feature. The overall focus is on understanding what Retrieval Augmented Generation is and how to use it in the classroom.
Learning Outcomes
1. Use AI tools for lesson planning, feedback, course design, and engagement
2. Understand and apply RAG to create more accurate, context-based AI outputs
