The Chemists’ Club NYU WSQ is pleased to host a special guest seminar featuring Joe Parry, Senior Scientist at Merck.
In this talk, Joe will present insights from his ongoing research within Merck’s Process Research and Development Enabling Technologies group. His work focuses on the application of high-throughput experimentation to accelerate reaction discovery and streamline process optimization: an approach that is transforming how chemists develop efficient and scalable chemical processes.
Joe brings over eight years of experience in synthetic organic and organometallic chemistry, with a strong background in the design and synthesis of small molecules, transition metal catalysts, and the optimization of transition metal-catalyzed reactions. His expertise bridges fundamental chemistry and practical industrial application, offering a valuable perspective on modern research strategies in pharmaceutical development.
Join us for an engaging and informative session exploring cutting-edge methodologies in chemical research and development.
All are welcome to attend. Registration is required for non NYU students.
