Event Description
The Chestnut Hill Community Association is proud to partner with the Whitemarsh Foundation to present the newest chapter of its educational series titled “Jewel of the Wissahickon – Rewilding the Dixon Meadow”.
Join internationally-acclaimed wildlife conservationist and author Bill Konstant and award-winning wildlife photographer Glenn Mason for an indoor photographic journey followed by a walk among the spring flora and wildlife.
Learn about winter holdover species, how the Foundation supports the Bluebird and Tree Swallow NestWatch research program, and why the Dixon Meadow is such an important link among the different habitats that define our region and preserve the local ecology.
