Metro Water Recovery’s (Metro) Northern Treatment Plant (NTP) is at the forefront of innovation, addressing the challenges of rapid growth, climate change, and complex influent conditions, including industrial dischargers. In this presentation, we will explore the development of NTP’s digital twin, focusing on both the people aspects—such as change management and adoption—and the technical components, including facility process modeling, monitoring, and analytics. These efforts aim to enable informed, real-time decision-making and maximize the value of collected process data.
We’ll also discuss the integration of field sensors, data acquisition, and real-time analytics—the core of digital twin technology. Attendees will gain valuable insights into best practices, lessons learned, and the future potential of digital twins in the water industry.
Join us to see how digital twin technology is driving innovation and transforming wastewater management!
