Are you ready to showcase your findings to the leaders of the aviation industry? We are officially inviting Undergraduate and Graduate students to participate in the upcoming poster competition at the 2025 UAA Collegiate Aviation Education Conference.

This is your chance to get your work in front of industry experts, have your research featured on the UAA website, and walk away with more than just bragging rights.


Prizes & Recognition:

  • Live Winners Announcement: Winners will be revealed and celebrated live during the conference.
  • Dual-Category Awards: Cash prizes are available for both Undergraduate and Graduate participant
  • Prize Breakdown (per category): $1,000 top prize, a $500 runner-up prize, and a $250 award for third place.


To enter, submit an abstract of 250 words or less. Your submission must include:

  • Poster Title: A precise, catchy, and professional title.
  • Topic Area: (e.g., Human Factors, Safety Management, Flight Training).
  • Author Details: Full name, university affiliation, and entrance category (Graduate or Undergraduate).


Eligibility & Rules:

  • Student Eligibility: While faculty may co-author and be listed on the publication, only student authors are eligible to receive prize money.
  • The Power of Three: To remain eligible for cash prizes, posters must have a maximum of three authors. Posters with four or more authors can still be displayed and published but will not be considered for prize money.
  • Visual Ethics: If you use images that aren't your own, you must provide proper attribution and list the license clearly under the image.
  • Formatting Matters: You must use the provided UAA template. Submissions that don't match the dimensions or aren't sent as print-quality PDFs will be unfortunately rejected. Download the Student Research Poster Template HERE*
